Torridon Dawn Loch Torridon, Highlands, Scotland
During a late winter sunset I watched amazed as the sky turned to the colour of a blood orange. Rather than try to resolve any barely discerible detail in the foreshore I instead chose my position to make the most of the meandering silhouette. The negative and positive space feel wonderfully balanced and cohesive in this composition with just a hint of twilight blue creeping into the reflected sky at the base of the image.
