Duffus Castle Duffus Castle, Moray, Scotland
Duffus castle is just a wonderful place to explore. In early Spring the grass plinth on which it sits is ridiculously verdent mainly because its backlit. This was a beautiful airy Spring morning with a glorious sky. Photographing it from this angle reminds me that the castle looks more like a badly corroded molar in an infected gum. Not a particularly pleasing description but quite apt. The two dimensional appearance gives it a childrens story book feel to the shot which I find very pleasing.
