Side Tracked Dava Moor, Highland, Scotland
Two and a half feet of fresh white powder snow had fallen on Dava moor over a week or so in January 2010. I was out with a small band of photographers enjoying the traffic free conditions of a road that crosses the Dava whose snow gates had closed. The fence is barely showing above the snow line yet still life persists. These Arctic hare tracks carry on across pristine wilderness for miles toward the mountains
