Fishermans Lament Mono   Loch Awe, Assynt, Scotland

This little loch probably seems a tiny bit sad and dreary and the wee blue row boat with its peeling paint adds to the sense of meloncholy. Personally I think the very still damp air and the freshness of a summer dawn and the sunrise that never was, is highly evocative, giving this little cameo scene an emotive content far greater than the sum of its parts.  I converted this one to Black and white as it possibly conveys the message even better than its companion colour version.
