Arctic Freeze   Loch A Chroisg, Achnasheen, Scotland

A winter sunset at the edge of Loch A Chroisg, the temperature had stayed well below zero degrees Celcius all day, the long grasses coated thickly with hoar frost and stained violet blue by the twilight afterglow.  The bitter cold actually took its toll on me as it stayed this way for three full days and by the last day I was suffering the early stages of frost bite in my finger tips, the feeling only returning after three months of massage.
