Arctic Scrub   Strath Tirry, Sutherland, Scotland

Lets be honest it isn't the most fascinating or beautiful landscape and I am sure it wouldn't merit a second glance normally, but winter and virgin snow transform any scene to a remarkable degree, add to that gorgeous lighting and it's merits over static composition and an average subject are clear to see.  Photography is clearly about light as far as I am concerned composition and subject matter are strong supporting roles but ultimately subservient.
