Bogged Bothy   Braemore Junction, Highlands, Scotland

This old tin roofed bothy has affectionately been re-named Cecilies House and is positioned at the edge of the connecting road to Dundonnell.  The moorland plateau is high and extremely inhospitable though undeniably beautiful and raw typical of Scotland's wilder places.  I have used this colourdful little bog pool before as a foreground because it disguises the presence of the road and places the bothy beneath the shoulders of An Teallach one of Scotland's finest Munros.
