Dava Freezer   Dava Moor, Moray, Scotland

The Dava Moor is Moray's lung, a high altitude plateau covered in heather and hills and spurious lochans and shortly to be the target of those oh so "green"  400 foot high wind turbines, deep joy.  Frankly I doubt if an oil slick from a stricken tanker would have a greater visual impact on this wilderness treasure, the bl**dy things are visible from 20 miles away.  Gripe over, if there is a dusting of snow anywhere near the Moray coast then the Dava will have oodles of the white stuff.  This little frozen pool is right on he highest point of the road and I shot almost into the light to retain the sparkle on the snow.
