Emerald Gold Cube   Cove Bay, Moray, Scotland

On the whole I tend to dislike the summer months with the ridiculously long daylight hours during which the light is far to harsh to be enjoyable save for the ends of the day.  Moray coast is an exception to the rule being largely free from biting insects and is endowed with what might best be called hyper colour from sunlit honeysuckle coloured sandstone cliffs to verdant green drapery hanging in wet curtains over black rocks.  That is exactly what you see here albeit with a highly compressed perspective courtesy of a long lens and reflected light from the cliffs.
