High Water Surge   Findhorn, Moray, Scotland

A winter sunset mistakenly visited at high tide after consulting the time tables for some time I failed to notice that I was looking at last years tides for March.  After contemplating my navel for a while I made the best of it and worked with the surging sea rushing over shiny pebbles.  I got wet feet but that I felt was at least what I deserved for being a buffoon.  I was very pleased with the result anyway and black and white was more compelling than the coloured original thanks to all that sharp light glittering water and pebbly texture.
