Sink Hole   Loch Eribol, Sutherland, Scotland

Not really a sink hole but it does kind of resemble the plug hole in the bottom of a basin.  The bowl is green grass and has sheep crawling over it the brass ring is of course the reeds. Every time I pass by this strange little place I feel myself slow down and this time I decided to stop and see what I could do with it.  Arguably nothing, but scale is given by the single white cottage and the dots of sheep and the graphic nature of the land is rendered into linear lines of strong colour which I find oddly compelling.  Make up your own mind.
