Thrifty Portknockie   Portknockie, Moray, Scotland.

The iconic rock arch known as the Bowfiddle rock is one of Morays most glorious stretches of coastline.  I tried to time a visit with a moody grey sky, soft light and nodding pink thrift on the cliff tops.  I was lucky for it had been unusually bright and sunny all week and this was my one chance to get the soft light I sought.
