Well Trodden Path

Keston Ponds, Kent, England

Snow comes to the Southern counties pretty infrequently these days but when it does those that don't curse the presence of snow and the temporary hazards it brings to driving, can be seen out enjoying a transformed world.  I am certainly somebody that belongs in the latter category, I love snow.  This little path rings the Keston ponds and despite the early hours a few walkers have already worn a path through fresh snow.  I find this intimate little shot conjures the atmosphere of quiet winter perfection out of all proportion to the importance of the subject material shown.
