Winter Weather Crask Inn   Crask Inn, Sutherland, Scotland

A packed copse of birch trees in a rural landscape catches my attention at any time of year but with this dream like winter scenic in front of me and the transformation offered by freshly laid snow there is little chance that I could pass it by and indeed I spent the best part of two hours taking various compositions around the Crask Inn.  This one of the birches I chose to frame with the snow topped stone wall in the foreground which actually conceals a bit of detritus that was less appealing.
