Running Events: Cross Country: British Challenge Series

The 2015 British Cross Challenge Series is an important selection event at senior levels for the European Cross Country Championships and other International events. Even in the lower age groups this is recognised as a premier event and gathers together the very best runners from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. There are four venues supposedly in each of the four countries Scotland, Wales, England and Northern Ireland, and a finals event held in Birmingham at the end of the series. The Northern Ireland Event is held in Antrim, the Welsh in Cardiff, the English in Milton Keynes and the Scottish... er Liverpool!! Can we really not find a venue to be proud of north of Hadrians Wall.
