Buttercup Castle
Duffus Castle, Moray, Scotland
If you can get there before Moray council decide that wild flowers are an eyesore that might prevent the public from enjoying the ruins of Duffus castle then you can use the billions of buttercups and daisys that carpet the grassy slopes as a picturesque foreground. I wasn't lucky enough to find the scene untouched but at least in one area the flowers had been spared being mowed to oblivion. The castle is actually best shot toward the ends of a blue sky day full of fluffy white clouds this provides some opposing hues to set off the buttercups.
