Castle Point

Castle Point, North Island, New Zealand

This beautiful white tower of a lighthouse is one of few I have encountered that doesn't need a shift lens to correct for the distortion inherent when you tilt a lens upwards. The splinter of land and the distant crag known as Castle Point construct a natural sheltered bay and the lighthouse is the piece de resistance.
