Celtic Blood Slioch
Loch Maree, Ross Shire, Scotland
After a completely still and clear blue sky day in Torridon sunset should have been a pretty forlorn hope because it is clouds that give colour to the sky something for the last rays of light to fall upon before the end of the day. However I knew that the sun would more or less set behind me and a clear blue sky day can often provide a flush of colour from Earth shadow visible at the anti-solar point directly after sunset so I took a chance and Heh Presto! rich soft colour pink and orange and the setting sun did manage to hit the highest object namely Slioch at the far end of Loch Maree.
