Clashnessie Waterfall
Clashnessie, Assynt, Scotland
When waterfalls are significant in height or girth it can be difficult to illustrate scale and for that there it is not a bad idea to include a person next to it to emphasise that very feature. Clashnessie Falls is a couple of dozen meters in height and its many separated cascades turn deep blue beneath the reflected light of a clear sky. My wife Hilary obligingly stood on a sunlit grass covered spit of rock featuring a lot of lime green Spring grass providing a nice opposing colour contrast to the sombre blue toned waterfall behind.
