Dappled Light Stac Pollaidh

Loch Lurgainn, Inverpolly, Scotland

For a short while the clouds that developed over the top of volcanic looking Stac Pollaidh looked like Neptune's trident spearing skywards whilst below it the reed bed glowed in the sunlight with a fresh water red sand beach in front. I decided to convert some of them to black and white and honestly prefer these with their corresponding textures and patterns of light and shade. Photo © copyright by Ian Cameron.
