Earth Shadow Blush Lochindorb

I have always loved the soft but intense colours that arises from that moment shortly after the sun is due to appear namely sunrise or as in this case sinks and disappears just after sunset on a clear evening. Snow obligingly adopts the cast of the sky directly above it which at dusk is normally cool which opposes the rosy tints and tangerine hues created at dusk. The Earth's shadow creates a fuzzy rising arc of blue just above the horizon where it projects onto that pink sky and vast open landscapes such as this at Lochindorb as viewed across Dava Moor, accentuating the colours still further.
