Elgol Splashback 2
Elgol, Skye, Scotland
I waited right by the sea shore at Elgol on the West coast of Skye and watched the distinctive triangular peak of bracken clad Sgurr Nastri flare red in the dying embers of late Autumn afternoon sunlight flicker across its flank. I noticed that a wee rock ledge formed a curved line which pointed in the direction of the peak and quite often a wave would wash over it forming a mini cascade and the occasional jump of sunlit spray as it dashed against the near rocks.
