Hanging on for Second

The under 14 and under 16 categories of the Forres Dirt Crit at Cluny hill were combined with both girls and boys taking part in the same three lap race. This of course made it a lot more exciting with more competitors involved and a greater urgency to take a few places and get further up the medal field regardless of age. The leading three cyclists were a huge distance in front and naturally they tended to be the older boys category but this is my son Ben and he has just made his way past the third place competitor to take second place on the second lap.
