Winter weather often brings wildlife a little closer than usual but I have to admit the size of the three large Red Deer stags with a very fine set of antlers coming quite as close as they did was slightly disconcerting. It appeared I wasn't the only one with similar thoughts as an American fella more used to seeing even larger Elk was equally nervous. As it was they ignored us completely and continued their stately procession across the slopes below the crag through deep drifted snow. Photo © copyright by Ian Cameron.
