Lichen Tangle Feshie Bridge

This delightful old growth birch meadow is a delight to visit in early Spring where the new leaves of almost fluorescent lime green are bursting forth and mingle beautifully with the pale green of the hanging lichens draped over every branch and twig. My priority was both to harness the wonderful light that had suffused the the thin canopy of new leaves and ensure that not a single tree overlaps or merges that might then disengage the viewer of this scene which is after all rendered not three dimensionally per our eyes but two dimensionally on a screen or print.
