Melrose and Misty Hills

The wee town of Melrose has its own abbey and nestles beneath the Eildon Hills in a sheltered valley through which the River Tweed meanders. In Autumn the Fall colours on a mix of Birch, Beech and Oak are magnificent. I sandwiched the town between the misty overlapping hills and a colourful mix of trees with a long lens.
