Penguin Gathering
Boulders Beach, CapeTown, Africa
Boulders Beach certainly isn't what it used to be back in 1998 when I last visited but there are still a good number of Jackass penguins wandering about but unlike 1998 there is no longer any human access to the beach and there is a substantial tariff for visiting a place where in the past I was able to sit on the beach and watch penguins walk by me undisturbed, un-tagged with electronic tracers and apparently in harmony with mankind.
