Rhodedendron and Pine
Blairs Loch, Moray, Scotland
New Summer growth sees the tips of the pine twigs in irridescent green amidst the flaky brick red columns of the more established and mature Scots Pine trees that form the canopy in Blairs Wood. The soft mist and the extremely wide aperture of the lens used, helped to mask the chaotic nature of the woodland behind my primary subject the single conical young pine tree amidst a heather bed whilst still suggesting a sense of place.
