Spider Dew and Bracken
Blairs Loch, Moray, Scotland
The forest floor at Blairs Loch is a mix of pine needles, heather tufts in this case still in flower and bracken fronds just starting to change colour with the seasonal transition from Summer to Autumn. I photographed this in the early morning shortly after a misty sunrise with a billion cobwebs each loaded with dew forming ghostly silken hammocks. Photo © copyright by Ian Cameron.
