Surfs Up Lossiemouth

Ben's final surf run of the day ended up being his best and longest run. He gathered up his surf board and jogged through the surf as only a true Baywatch surfing dude can. It ended badly, Ben suddenly yelled out in pain claiming had just been stung or bitten by something hidden in the sand. On closer inspection there was blood oozing from his foot and I thought it might be glass. As his foot swelled up and a large white blister appeared it became evident that something had stuck a spine into him and the conclusion, a Weever fish. The cure for the intense pain is hot water on the targeted area which de-natures the protein based toxin. Photo © copyright by Ian Cameron.
