Winter Forest Fir Coat

Thick fir trees at the edge of Blairs wood on the outskirts of Forres collected and retained a heavy coat of newly laid snow on their limbs which helped to define their conical shape against the taller straight and copper coloured trunks of the Spruce beyond. Photo © copyright by Ian Cameron.
