Winter Sun Sligachan Cirque
Sligacahan, Skye, Scotland
Just beyond Sligachan is a favourite wee pond or lochan I like to visit which on a suitable evening produces some fantastic lighting on the junction of the red and black Cuillins peaks. The reed bed can be anything from non existent to smothered in long green shoots and even lily pads. However I quite like it in the Spring as the grasses remain dead and golden which works well with cloud dappled blue sky's over the aforementioned peaks.
